England’s James Willstrop celebrates his sixth month as world number one in the new July Dunlop PSA Men’s World Squash Rankings, published today by the Professional Squash Association.

The 28-year-old from Leeds heads an unchanged top 20 list, ahead of fellow countryman Nick Matthew at two; FrenchmanGregory Gaultier in third place; and Egyptians Ramy Ashour and Karim Darwish at four and five, respectively.

Australian Mike Corren, the only winner of two PSA World Tour titles in June, moves up eight places to No77. Success in the Barossa Valley Open in South Australia – the 38-year-old’s fourth title triumph of the year – marked the 41st Tour title of Corren’s career.

Corren went on to reach a further final last month – at the South Australian Open in Adelaide – but this time lost out to compatriot Rex Hedrick. The 23-year-old from Melbourne also celebrates a ranking rise – moving up five places to a career-high 71.

But Jamaican Christopher Binnie celebrates one of the biggest moves of the month after winning the British Virgin Islands Open.

The US-based 23-year-old marched through the inaugural Tour event in the Caribbean as a qualifier – dismissing three of the event’s top four seeds to make history by becoming the first Jamaican to win a PSA Tour title.
