Colombia enjoyed a perfect day of doubles in the Pan American Championships as their mixed team, women’s team and men’s team swept the field with golds in all three categories.

Colombia, who also won all three doubles events in 2022, got off to a perfect start in the mixed doubles, as No.2 seeded Maria Tovar and Matias Knudsen took down No.1 seeds Nikole Todd and David Baillargeon of Canada, with Tovar and Knudsen recording an 11-8, 11-7 win.

Then, top seeds Catalina Pelaez and Lucia Bautista overcame Argentinian No.2 seeds Pilar Etchechouri and Valentina Portieri with a routine 11-5, 11-8 victory.

Rounding out the action, men’s top seeds Juan Camilo Vargas and Ronald Palomino cruised past Peruvian [3/4] seeds Alonso Escudero and Rafael Galves 11-8, 11-4.
